Magnolia House Gift Card Redemption Policy – July 2025
As many of you are aware, Jar Consulting Inc., operating as Magnolia House Spa Salon Boutique, declared bankruptcy on April 23, 2025, leaving a substantial amount of unredeemed gift cards in the hands of the community. As the original owners of Magnolia House from June 17, 2003, to April 30, 2022, we have been deeply affected by this situation, just as many of you have.
This should never have happened, and we genuinely regret the uncertainty and inconvenience it has caused. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the many local businesses in Waterdown, Burlington, and surrounding communities that have generously offered to accept Magnolia House Gift Cards (albeit at discounted rates) during this time.
Although we are a new operating entity and are not legally obligated to honour any Gift Cards issued before April 23, 2025, we have made the decision to do so in good faith. Our commitment to our loyal guests and the community remains strong, and we want to make this right.
We will honour all previously issued Magnolia House Gift Cards for their full value, provided the balance remains intact and the conditions below are met.
Gift Card Redemption Terms:
- Effective dates: July 15, 2025 – September 15, 2025
- Eligibility: Gift Cards must have been purchased before April 18, 2025
- Redemption Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only
- Physical card required: Gift Card must be presented at time of service. We cannot accept lost or missing cards.
- Not eligible: Cards that were refunded through credit card companies’ chargebacks
- Policy subject to change: We reserve the right to adjust these conditions as needed.
